All Tofutti foods are Kosher Parve, which means that none of our products contain any dairy or milk byproducts; this includes casein, whey, skim milk powder, or dairy lactic acid. Lactic acid used in all Tofutti products is derived from vegetables. Tofutti products also do not contain eggs or egg derivatives; including egg white, egg powder, or egg shell.

Tofutti products are produced in facilities that also manufacturer dairy-based foods. However, as Tofutti products are certified Kosher Parve, in addition to normal plant sterilization, cleaning, and testing procedures, a Kosher Parve supervisory service is employed prior to the production of Tofutti products; this process involves a caustic rinse with boiling water and then further testing to ensure no dairy or animal products are present.

Tofutti is vegan.

All Tofutti cheeses, dips, and sour cream are gluten and wheat free and produced in a gluten and wheat free facility. Our frozen dessert pints and Tofutti Cuties are not gluten-free and are produced in facilities that also manufacture products with wheat and gluten. Tofutti Cuties do run on dedicated production lines, but gluten and wheat are present in the facility. Ingredients for Tofutti products are stored separately, away from ingredients containing gluten and wheat. Routine sterilization, cleaning, and testing, as well as Kosher Parve supervision are always performed.

Tofutti products do not contain any coconut or sesame products; this includes oil, seeds, coconut sugar, and dehydrated coconut.

All Tofutti cheeses, sour cream, and dips are totally nut-free and manufactured in nut-free facilities. Tofutti frozen dessert and Tofutti Cuties are produced in facilities that also use peanuts and/or tree nuts. Cuties are produced on a separate line; no other products but Cuties are run on this line; there are no tree nuts or peanuts on the line. All production lines are subjected to intense cleaning and testing procedures, including Kosher Parve supervision, before any Tofutti product is run. Please note that Tofutti Better Pecan and Vanilla Almond Bark do contain nuts.

All Tofutti products contain soy and tofu.

Maltodextrin used in Tofutti products is derived from corn.

The sugar used in Tofutti products is not processed with bone char.
